As a Machinist, you will be responsible for reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output. Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping. Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. Select appropriate machines to complete job. And preform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.

Essential Functions:
Should have a working knowledge using metal lathe, milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, metal break and metal shear, plasma cutting, metal forming, welders, acetylene torches, blanchard grinding and metal cutting saws.
Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial machinery, work tools, and equipment.
Preform both uptime and down time preventative maintenance in adherence to the master PM schedule.
Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner
Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
Provide assistance in operating in operating functions/areas
This role is Monday-Friday. As part of our Union Maintenance Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation. Based on the need, overtime may be available including other shifts and weekends. As part of pre-employment, a maintenance skills assessment will be required.
