Solid understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials(steel, aluminum, exotic alloys, etc.). Experience in Lights Out manufacturing processes preferred. Skilled in using precision measurement instruments and inspection methods. Ability to work independently, manage multiple setups, and maintain tight production schedules. The Lathe Machinist will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with turning, boring, drilling and threading while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls.
