DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a hands-on CNC Machinist who can independently set up and run CNC jobs using setup sheets and machining instructions. The selected CNC Machinist will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas: Operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines during off-shift or hybrid hours. Prove out NC programs and make necessary adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tool paths. Plan and execute machining tasks to meet schedule and quality requirements. Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensional compliance. Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Communicate status, issues, and improvements clearly across shifts. Assist with work instruction development when required. Perform other shop duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training strongly preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of CNC machining experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machine setup and operation. Working knowledge of G-code interpretation and modification. Proficient with precision inspection tools and methods. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T fundamentals. Organized, dependable, and adaptable to shifting priorities. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, especially across shifts. CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizenship required.
