Job Description: Biomerics has immediate openings for talented CNC Machine Operator at our facility in Monroe, CT. Working in a team environment, this individual will ensure that automated manufacturing processes are producing optimal results. Representative Responsibilities: Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines. Set up and run first pieces to verify that the machines produce outputs according to specifications. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. Requirements Desired Skills, Talent, and Qualifications: Knowledge of machine shop equipment and practice, (actual machining experience a plus) Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Must have strong attention to detail. Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
