We are continually upgrading and adding new machines to our shop, the most recent being a pair of Matsuura MAM72-70V's each equipped with 18-pallet tower systems. Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist position include, but are not limited to; Setup, run and produce quality parts on various CNC machines such as, but not limited to 3-, 4-, or 5-Axis milling or Mill-Turn (Multi-Tasking) machines. Load and unload parts, operate controls, complete basic program edits, and initial deburring of parts. Complete tool changes and resetting of tool offsets. Use job package information and drawings along with shop measurement devices and gauging to complete in-process inspection and determine dimensions and tolerances of in-process and finished parts. Dismantle setups and return tools, fixtures and gauging to proper location upon completion of manufacturing runs. Detect and report machine and equipment malfunctions to immediate supervisor. Communicate with supervisor for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly. Complete daily and weekly preventative maintenance checklists on assigned equipment. Within the scope of the job requirements, adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company AS9100 quality program and procedures, company policies and Safety and Environmental regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
