Your Role as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team and provide high-quality care for our residents. The CMA plays a crucial role in ensuring proper medication administration and assisting residents with daily living activities in a skilled nursing environment.
What You'll Do:
Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of licensed staff.
Verify resident identity before medication administration and document medication dosage and time.
Monitor residents for responses to medication and report any adverse reactions to the supervising nurse.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
Recognize and promptly report any changes in resident conditions to charge staff.
Take and record vital signs, reporting abnormalities per policy.
Identify medication shortages and immediately report to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
Support co-workers by providing assistance as needed or requested.

Primary Duties

Temporary maintenance workers perform a variety of building and utility maintenance and general maintenance duties.Work will include:
Buildings and Utilities - You may be assigned to assist journeyman carpenters, plumbers, and electrician with projects related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, heating, air conditioning, masonry, and routine maintenance of generators. May be required to drive pickup trucks and other vehicles up to 1 ton in a variety of traffic situations and road conditions. May operate various types of power equipment.
General Maintenance: You may be assigned to clean public restrooms, pick up and haul garbage; perform minor repairs, including some plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work; pick up litter at visitor use areas; maintain campgrounds and associated facilities such as public water and wastewater systems, fire pits, fish cleaning station, picnic areas, etc., grounds, trails, boardwalks, and otherwise maintain park facilities. These positions require that you operate light pickups, electric carts, small tractors, and other types of small power equipment and hand tools.

Utilize most hand and power tools associated with these trades. Performed these tasks as a skilled helper under close supervision and my work was checked during and after completion. Supervisor assigned work orally, through work orders, or with written specifications as to what needed to be done. Work was checked to see that it met compliance with work and safety standards and policies.

Non-Competitive Rehire Eligibility: Temporary seasonal employees can only maintain their non-competitive rehire eligibility if they work no more than a combined total of Temporary NTE less than 1040 hours anywhere in the National Park Service (NPS) within their established service year. Accordingly, non-competitive rehire eligibility allows for re-appointment to the same position or another position appropriate for temporary appointment with the same qualification requirements (5 CFR 316.402[b][7]), based on series and grade, anywhere in the major subdivision (NPS).
If you have held a temporary seasonal appointment in the past 12 months and have already worked the maximum temporary appointment less than 1040 hours during that period, you are still welcome to apply. However, please be aware that exceeding the limit of 1040 hours in your established service year will result in the loss of your non-competitive rehire eligibility.
The limit can be exceeded by working multiple temporary seasonal positions that result in a combined total greater than 1040 hours. The limit also can be exceeded by working a single temporary seasonal appointment that exceeds 1040 hours, unless granted an exception by OPM.

Physical Demands: The physical effort required is considered heavy to moderate and requires lifting or handling of objects or materials up to 50 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lifting or moving heavier items with the assistance of a lifting device or other workers. The incumbent is required to work while standing, stooping, bending, crouching and climbing in tiring, awkward, and uncomfortable positions, and in all manners of environmental conditions. When working from a ladder or scaffolds, work involves reaching overhead, stretching or other awkward positions. Occasionally work is performed beneath buildings where the work area is cramped and dark, or work may be done from highly elevated platforms. Sometimes long hikes while carrying a backpack may be essential as is the possibility of technical climbing into some sites.
Working Conditions: General work is done at prehistoric and historic structures and ruins throughout the park. Often these are in backcountry locations with difficult access that may require rappelling and the use of scaffold and ladder systems. The structures and ruins may be extremely deteriorated and structurally unsound and therefore considered hazardous. The work is often extremely dusty and direct and of such nature that protective equipment and clothing such as hard hats, safety shoes, goggles, respirators, and ear protection are required, whether working indoors and outdoors. Some work is performed in the shop area where incumbent is exposed to moderate or high noise levels from operating machinery, saw dust in the air, fumes, and hazards associated with power equipment or preservatives. Occasionally the work may be performed outside under adverse weather conditions. Other environmental factors such as stinging and biting insects, snakes, and poisonous plants can be encountered. Assignments could involve working with hazardous materials, such as rodent nests, asbestos, and lead-based products, etc. To reduce the dangers, the incumbent is required to follow prescribed safety practices.

Works as a team to load trucks following shipping requirements.

Load vehicles evenly with material to appropriate weight.
Keep loading areas clean.
Complete truck checklist.
Perform general clean up:
Keep the loadout plant area clean of material and debris
Make sure all trash cans are emptied weekly from the office and plant area
Assist in cleaning other areas of the plant, when necessary
Operate bagging equipment to bag and palletize material
Perform pre-start-up checks of equipment and fill out any forms or inspections associated with the bagging operation.
Load trucks with bagged material, making sure that the product being loaded matches the material being placed on each truck and care is taken in placement of all pallets.
If certified, operate a forklift safely, making sure all mobile equipment logs are filled out daily for each piece of machinery.
Complete quality testing as required.
Log all analysis properly on the respective pick slips.
Notify the plant operator when the proper materials for bagging production are needed.
If blends are performed, make sure the blend is logged for the duration of the blend and proper QC standards are followed.
Notify management and office administrators if any of the following occur:
Material shortages for daily shipments
Gradation problems or loading time changes
Unusual noises or potential mechanical problems
Assist maintenance in repairing any mechanical equipment, when necessary
Complete and maintain all related paperwork as directed by management daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
Other duties may be assigned in order to maintain a safe and efficient operation.

Providers working in Oklahoma facilities will practice under the authorization of collaborative practice with one or more physicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Develops and manages the medical plan of care for patients based upon an agreement developed jointly and signed by the mid-level and supervising physicians.
* Provides complete, comprehensive outpatient care for patients including health examinations and treatment of medical conditions, to include follow-up of problems detected.
* Responsible to manage acute and chronic illness, routine care through care plans that are coordinated, when appropriate, with the patient's behavioral health provider
* Responsible to make appropriate referrals to internal disciplines of CHC/SEK and/or external resources/agencies for additional services required.
* Prescribes medications for patients for treatment of conditions, as indicated.
* Provides clinical consultation to other providers within CHC/SEK as needed.
* Responsible for accurate, timely, and clear medical record documentation as defined by the Electronic Health Record Completion Policy.
* Observes clinic protocols and guidelines and scope of practice as determined by professional regulatory agencies.
* Provide appropriate follow-up with clinical support staff to include telephone/written correspondence (e.g. inform patients of test results).
* Provides clear written and oral communication to patients/guardians, and employees.
* Participates in an on-call system for after-hours care for CHC/SEK inpatient population, as assigned.
* Participates in quality improvement activities.
* Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of a potential action.
