You will contribute by:
Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
Staging finished product in designated storage areas
Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

Determine pulling order and print pick list based on job releases from Master Schedule. All pick items must be marked for final destination either S-saw, R wool pile/rubber, M-machine, P-accessory packing
Run large jobs through 2-3 man breaking team smaller orders through 1 man team
Check pick list and receipts for accuracy
Keep wool pile machines supplied with work and ensure jobs are completed in the right order to match production schedule
Organize shipments within warehouse
Operate forklift
Ability to work in a team environment
Other duties as assigned

Position Purpose
A Material Handler will assist with goods in and goods out of TAIT facilities. The hourly wage for this position is $27.51, plus $1.00/hour shift dif.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator, this position will operate the palletizers, stretch wrappers and associated equipment in the warehouse. Additionally, Palletizer Operators will also be responsible for performing all functions of Warehouse Operator, when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
* Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Directs product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.
* Maintains adequate supply of empty pallets for palletizer utilization.
* Coordinates changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.
* Coordinates end of work orders with Manufacturing Technical Line Operators and other operations personnel.
* Ensures line clearance during changeover to new work order.
* Mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and PM's on all palletizers, stretch wrappers, pallet labeling system (PLS) and associated equipment.
* Supplies raw materials as needed to equipment in palletizer area, such as stretch wrap, labels, ribbon, etc.
* Inspects pallets against quality standards and documents results.
* Assists with training and certification program as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 2 years of experience in distribution operations, including equipment, materials, workflow, WMS, and stand-up forklift experience in a fast-paced distribution environment required.

Scope
The Material Handler is responsible to general shipping/receiving, material movement, product decontamination, and clerical support for the Product Service area.
Essential Functions
* Follows work instructions and operating procedures

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations receiving material shipments into the warehouse, as well as pulling/prepping/securing materials for shipping of scheduled jobs. Responsibilities
+ Load/unload freight onto/from containers and trailers.
+ Verify inbound deliveries against manifests to verify product and quantity accuracy.
+ Utilize RF Scanners to pick and/or pack customer orders ensuring accuracy of type and quantity of all components.
+ Select and construct appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transport of product to final destination.
+ Utilize RF Scanners, Computers, and scales to process orders for shipment.
+ Maintain facility equipment by performing daily safety inspections and monitoring power supply.
+ Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
+ Perform stock counts.
+ Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required:
+ High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
+ Ability to carry and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; Ability to stand and walk or move around for extended periods; Repetitive pushing, pulling, and bending required
+ Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.
Preferred:
+ Prior warehouse operations experience.
+ Prior powered material handling equipment experience and/or certifications.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator, this position will operate the palletizers, stretch wrappers and associated equipment in the warehouse. Additionally, Palletizer Operators will also be responsible for performing all functions of Warehouse Operator, when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
Directs product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.
Maintains adequate supply of empty pallets for palletizer utilization.
Coordinates changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.
Coordinates end of work orders with Manufacturing Technical Line Operators and other operations personnel.
Ensures line clearance during changeover to new work order.
Mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and PM's on all palletizers, stretch wrappers, pallet labeling system (PLS) and associated equipment.
Supplies raw materials as needed to equipment in palletizer area, such as stretch wrap, labels, ribbon, etc.
Inspects pallets against quality standards and documents results.
Assists with training and certification program as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required.
2 years of experience in distribution operations, including equipment, materials, workflow, WMS, and stand-up forklift experience in a fast-paced distribution environment required.
PREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical and technical ability, ability to troubleshoot, perform PM's, etc.

Scope
Under general direction from the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler will support the warehouse with duties related to shipping, receiving and other warehouse functions as needed.
Essential Functions
* Accurately complete and file required paperwork in a timely manner with a high attention to detail such as move tickets, shipping documents, etc.
* Effectively use RF Smart Scanners and computerized MRP system for all transactions.
* Safe operation of all Powered Industrial Truck warehouse and material handling equipment including the stand-up and sit-down lift trucks. Complete the daily checklist for equipment as required.
* Work and communicate in a team environment and/or independently as needed to achieve successful Company, plant and department goals.
* Cross train with other warehouse associates as needed for back-up job responsibilities. Rotate and perform work in these areas as needed.
* Follow all Company safety policies, rules and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed.
* Perform periodic warehouse walk throughs and consolidations as required.
* Review and follow all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and Work Instructions in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

* Unload incoming freight carrier trucks, sign for packaging (noting any damage) and sort packages to distribute to appropriate locations.
* Review and verify accuracy of packing slip(s) from the vendor and accurately mark them with pertinent information.
* Repackage material for safe handling as needed.
* Performs inventory transactions and enter receipts in AX (computerized warehouse management system) in a timely and accurate manner.
* Communicate inventory discrepancies to the Production Supervisor and purchasing agent in a timely manner.
