Warehouse Coordinator (2nd shift)
The 2nd Shift Warehouse Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving operational success across all departments during the second shift. Acting as a key support to the 2nd Shift Manager, this position ensures seamless workflow, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to performance, safety, and quality standards. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing nightly production activities, resolving logistical challenges, and maintaining real-time visibility into warehouse operations and the ability to step into supervisory responsibilities when needed.
Review all open work and direct nightly responsibilities and job duties.
Liaison between all departments, ensuring all tasks are executed to the best quality.
Concentration on the entire process assisting all departments (receiving, order processing, compliance, pick module, shipping, and inventory/quality control).
Assist in analyzing internal logistical problems and help develop innovative solutions.
Drive a performance-based environment, metric driven by utilizing/analyzing real time data.
Coach and educate employees on operational policies and procedures.
Emphasis on general safety and ensuring employees are working safely and in a safe environment.
Effective communication skills written and verbal- participate in daily department huddles, communicating priorities and updating key stake holders throughout the shift.
Take on all responsibilities of the 2nd shift supervisor in their absence, serving as a true back up to the 2nd shift supervisor role.
Perform other functions and activities as directed by the 2nd shift Manager and Warehouse Ops Manager.
