You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station - the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You'll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
**Some of your duties may include**
1. Receive and prepare inventory for delivery
2. Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
3. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
4. Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
**You will also need to be able to do:**
1. Lift up to 49 pounds
2. View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
3. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
4. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
5. Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
6. Work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)

**What it's like at an Amazon Delivery Station**
1. **Surroundings** . You'll be working around moving machines - order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.
2. **Activity** . Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
3. **Training** . You'll have a fixed schedule for on-the-job training. After completing the training, you'll move to the schedule you chose when you applied.
4. **Temperature** . Even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse; on hot days, temperatures can be over 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers.

What will you do as a Warehouse Worker?
As part of the Operations Team, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for pulling orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of warehouse area and production equipment.
Monitor all product that is both incoming and outgoing for accountability accuracy.
Restock and replenish as appropriate.
Operate industrial power equipment.
Stage completed pallets in designated area.
Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.
Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.
Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Gain Processing & Quality Assurance
Fully understand delivery and loading plan.
Probe, take samples, make sure product quality meets contract requirement.
Unload/loading trucks, print and enter scale tickets.
Update inventory log.
Spot, clean, and load railcars.
Keep unload/ shipped product samples.

Follow the cleaning schedule set by operators.
Conduct change over.

Qualifications
