Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all Company policies.
Adhere to Attendance guidelines.

Performs Lift Truck Inspection check before using forklift each shift.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**

+ Follow all Company policies.

Essential Functions:
· Complete the Daily Forklift Maintenance / Pre-shift Inspection sheet.

DIHO Consulting is now hiring experienced operators to support our clients warehouse operations in Northeast Louisiana. You'll play an essential role in daily operations, moving materials that people need and use every day.
What You'll Do in This Role:
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for receiving, moving, stocking, and staging materials throughout the warehouse, as well as loading and unloading shipments and assisting with inventory accuracy. Equipment may include sit-down, stand-up, clamp forklifts, and/or electric pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (up to 70% of the shift).
Pull, prepare, and stage product for shipment, ensuring proper count and labeling.
Perform daily pre-shift inspections and document findings.
Change forklift batteries or LP tanks; monitor power source usage.
Keep the facility and work area clean, safe, and organized.
Comply with all OSHA and company safety standards.
Verify load accuracy, check for damage or miscounts, and report discrepancies.
Assist in physical inventories and routine warehouse upkeep.
Perform additional duties as needed or assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Warehouse Duties May Include:
Loading/unloading items for processing or packaging.
Interpreting work instructions and completing tasks efficiently.
Safe startup and shutdown of assigned equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Valid forklift operator certificate or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
