Role Summary
:

The Director, MRP is responsible for evaluating business demand signals across all physical products and managing a team, who place manufacturing, rework, or consolidation orders for finished goods, components, corrugate displays, and distributor packs. The team must ensure that product is available to fulfill customer sales orders timely and efficiently, while minimizing costs. The Director frequently communicates with vendors, partners, and other internal departments to manage priorities, capacity constraints, system enhancements and issue resolution.


Essential Responsibilities
:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support and develop a team of Supply Chain professionals through clear goal setting and regular performance reviews, talent reviews, annual compensation cycles, and training and development Ensure all manufacturing PO’s are resolved and closed with vendors on-time to support distribution demands; act as escalation point for exceptions Support internal costing, billing, and inventory reconciliation efforts Review manufacturing vs demand plan on a weekly basis. Provide reporting as needed. Ensure that manufacturing is aligned with the forecast and that procurement adjustments are made in support of business objectives Manage vendor relationships including BPO resources, and ensure SLA’s are monitored Provide input in Sales and Operations review meetings to adjust priorities, address capacity constraints and other issue resolution(s) Initiate system enhancements, business process changes, and cost savings initiatives for key supply chain projects Communicate directly with SDS Management, major studios, and partners anything related to MRP Help create a culture of inclusion and collaboration across the supply chain team and its stakeholders
Qualifications

The Product Deliver Center (PDC) Organization has an opportunity for the Director, PDC Materials position. The selected candidate will lead and manage significant organizational change that integrates systems, processes, and culture. They will drive resolution of complex cross-functional and organizational issues that require significant stakeholder engagement and influencing. The candidate will also focus on data driven decisions to drive both top and bottom line performance leveraging strong process flow, equipment, and process control knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Communication / Risk Assessment - Work with the command center and customers to ensure parts produced by the business unit are delivered in a timely manner. Also, communicate / negotiate delivery plans that satisfy customer needs and meet financial goals.
* Schedule Optimization - Ensure SIOP Process/Results is being communicated and ultimately results in alignment with build plans. Provide input into MRP demand load and business schedule. The schedule should be optimized for several factors; maximized use of business unit capacity, minimized inventory, and on-time fulfillment of customer requirements.
* Capacity / Lead-Time Improvements - Strategically deploy initiatives targeted to address opportunities for capacity and lead-time improvements on material flow. Lead the organization in the implementation of identified opportunities. Ensure alignment with OpX organization for continued deployment of visual factory as well as enhanced automation strategies.
* Starts Management - Empower the team to ensure schedules are met through the on-time starting of material. Identify common causes of late starts. Enable/Lead open communication with production and suppliers to correct issues as identified.
* Finance - Lead initiatives targeted to ensuring we meet Financial Metrics including but not limited to Aged Inventory, Operating Expenses, Headcount Alignment, and Overtime Management.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or applicable field and 14+ years of Operations Experience; OR an Advanced Degree and 12+ years of Operations Experience
* U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
