This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning May 27th, 2026.
This internship will be based at our site in Whitehall, PA.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Gain knowledge about the operating procedures, process control plans and various products at one of our Cement plants.
+ Understand various mechanical, maintenance, and production operations.
+ Collate data, establish process correlations and develop strategies for capital projects.
+ Acquire firsthand knowledge on how to ensure maximum process equipment capacity usage through continuous monitoring and improvement of process control parameters.
+ Will be assigned to a real job/task and expected to make a contribution that will have an impact on the business.
+ Utilize various skill sets/knowledge during day-to-day operations and to achieve team/company goals.
+ Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and what you believe you have contributed to the business.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

**SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT**
+ Work Schedule: This is an onsite role with a mandatory 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, working an 8-hour shift each day.
+ In this internship position, you will be working in a cement manufacturing/production environment. Within this environment, you will be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and more.
+ You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
+ Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.

Completing mechanical design tasks related to won projects and product development initiatives, support of aftermarket activities and engineering tasks.

+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

2026 Guardian Summer Intern, Digital & Technology - Data Engineering
Our 2026 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. Program Structure:

Summer Internship Project Overview:
The Engineering Intern will be a valued member of our team and will support our operations by participating in projects and activities organized by our engineering department that will focus on business needs and objectives. Interns in the Engineering focus will work in a manufacturing plant, where ultra-high purity specialty gases are purified and filled for major customers in the semiconductor industry. Throughout the summer, interns will support the continuing operations of the plant alongside senior engineers, working hands-on with equipment such as distillation columns, adsorption beds, diaphragm compressors, gas distribution panels, instrumentation, and programmable logic controllers. In addition, interns will manage an independent plant expansion or productivity project with final presentation. Interns will perform engineering and project management work like creating designs in AutoCAD, sizing equipment, building parts lists, and maintaining a project schedule and budget. Interns will collaborate with project managers, process engineers, operations, procurement, safety, and other business groups.

The Position:
As an R&D engineer, you will be a key member of our Technology Exploration Unit team in Granada Spain (part of the R&T Research and Technology Unit that is distributed between Granada Spain and Rochester US).
You are expected to perform tasks related to early technical developments as technology exploration tasks, which is key for the company to be able to evaluate and master technologies considered key for future products and services. The position will also be related to research projects and grants in which the Engineer will address also the technical project management tasks.

Technical skills in general software development, embedded Linux, software engineering, FPGA design, firmware modules, and Linux kernel driver development and debugging.
Recommended experience in R&D projects.
Required experience in:
