Job Duties:
Assist in the design of new products and make updates to existing products.

Responsibilities
* Design, develop, validate, and verify mechanical test equipment that meets customer expectations. Work closely with Design Engineering to ensure test systems meet contract requirements, statement of work, and specifications. Designs to include schematics, CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, stress analysis, assembly planning, and Build of Materials management.
* Design Fluid Power systems to test production parts.
* Perform testing and create test reports.
* Work with technicians for setup, trouble shooting, repair, upgrade, and assist with maintenance services in support of engineering and manufacturing test equipment.
* Write test plans, procedures, and reports based on industry test standards per customer requirements and applicable specs to perform structural, environmental and performance tests.
* Generate support documentation of test stands including functional diagrams, specifications, performance capability, troubleshooting guidelines, and maintenance plans.
* Conduct design reviews and test readiness reviews with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering field with eight years' experience in aircraft mechanical component system testing.

Job Summary:
As a member of the Keller Associates team, you will collaborate with other engineers and technical experts to provide meaningful, innovative solutions to the infrastructure challenges facing growing communities. On any given day, you can expect to work in water and wastewater, civil/site, stormwater, and other disciplines. From new graduates to 40-year veterans, you will have the chance to work closely with engineers of numerous specialties and abilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Preparation of design calculations and technical reports
Assist our team in preparation of drawings, specifications, and presentations
Gather information to for project design decisions
Work with multiple engineering disciplines and professionals in project coordination under the direction of a senior engineer
Perform field work related to construction related services as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of working as part of a team or independently
Proficient with applicable software such as Microsoft Office
Being familiar with BlueBeam, MicroStation, AutoCAD and ArcGIS, are a plus
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Civil Engineering, or equivalent field of study
Greater than 30 hours of earned college credit

Job Summary
Under general supervision of a Sr. Engineer, the intern will work in a variety of assignments to provide general support to the engineering group.
The intern's assignments will make a positive contribution to BD Medical as well as give the intern opportunities to gain “hands on” work experience with the intent of training the intern for the potential of starting a successful career after graduation.
This is a part-time internship at BD's Sandy, UT location. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week while also enrolled in school. Candidates must be able to commute to Sandy, UT.
Responsibilities
Provide daily project or emergency support to engineering, operations, or maintenance departments.
Work with production personnel to understand and improve operation of production equipment.
Work with production maintenance to develop the ability to perform routine troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Assist an engineering project leader by completing technical tasks such as design and solid modeling, coordinating purchasing or assembly of components, and implementing improvements using standard validation processes.
Act as an engineering representative for TPM teams led by the Sr. Electro-mechanics. Intern will help the TPM team identify, isolate, and solve reoccurring production problems.
Intern will learn validation principles through BD validation training and then apply them under the supervision of a project engineer.
Intern will learn the basics of the six-sigma methodology through “Six-Sigma Lite” training and will apply them in day-to-day problem solving.
Act as a team leader for smaller engineering projects or short-term production support projects.
Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.
Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University/College Engineering program; preferred majors are Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must be able to commute to BD Sandy, UT office.
