Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and designers, contributing to the team's professional development. Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Attend client meetings, conduct field inspections and site surveys, respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), and provide construction phase support. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in a design consulting environment, with a strong background in HVAC systems. Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, specifically Revit MEP, is a core requirement. Familiarity with other design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus. Licensure: Progress toward or the ability to obtain Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure within a reasonable timeframe is highly desirable.
