What You Will Do
Individual projects will vary, but you can expect to solve challenging problems with applications that will power human progress. You won't be going it alone- you'll be paired with a Senior Engineer to act as a mentor to guide you on your project. Collaborate with other Engineering team members on and off-project. We'll have a series of social activities and learning events throughout the internship to learn about our company, our culture, and have some fun!
What You Need
Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Master's, or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Preference given for students graduating in the 2025/2026 academic year
Practical experience with electronics (disassembly, component identification, design, (re)assembly, etc.)
Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics
PCB & CAD layout experience a plus
Preference for students with Power Electronics experience
Ability to use AutoCAD or related software is advantageous
This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
Our good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $20.50 - $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
