BROWARD COLLEGE MECHANIC APPRENTICE AND AIRCRAFT WASHER INTERNSHIP Internship Opportunity: Mechanic Apprentice and Aircraft Washer Supervising Department: Aircraft Maintenance, reporting to a Licensed A & P Mechanic Target Program at Broward College: Those individuals already on the pathway to Airframe & Powerplant Certification. Role Description: Work under the supervision and guidance of Mechanics of the department to ensure that aircraft are prepared to safely function per regulation. Participate in the Mechanic Apprentice training offered by the department. Participate in internal communication with all other departments related to equipment considerations, product excellence, scheduling issues and required paperwork. Focus on safety by observing self and teammates and being vigilant, report issues and offer suggestions to promote continuous process improvement.
