Job DescriptionGet in on the ground floor of Tapout Fitness. We are excited to offer the Group fitness instructor opening at Tapout Fitness to the right candidate.

The Fitness Coach is someone who has a passion for fitness and an undeniable enthusiasm for motivating members through a fast-paced high-energy workout.

This is a hybrid role where you will also work as a membership advisor in charge of generating lead, booking appointments and building your own business as a training by offering personal training services to the members.

We are looking for someone that has experience leading small group or group training classes with a microphone and having boxing, kickboxing or martial arts experience.

We are looking for someone who can lead by example and represent excellence as a fitness professional. The brand has been rooted in Martial Arts and we have evolved the business into martial arts, group fitness and general fitness training, while staying committed to its brand essence of discipline, determination and motivation. Tapout Fitness is dedicated to inspiring the athlete in every individual and to support each team member.

As a Fitness Coach you’ll be a leader within our organization and expected to maintain the highest standard of professionalism at all times. The Trainer is committed to promoting fitness, nutrition, and well-being through one-on-one training, group training, presentations, and personal standard of living.

We’re looking for someone who will provide top-level personal training services to Tapout Fitness members. The Personal Trainer will also need to have a working knowledge and understanding of all Tapout Fitness training equipment and safety guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
Know the ins and outs of the company and how we operate. Individual must demonstrate the ability to confidently lead our group training classes by following our structured workout programs. Ability to create a positive, upbeat and energetic studio environment while multi-tasking. Ability to verbally and visually correct exercise and striking form to educate members and prevent injury. Gain new business through member promotion, referrals, and the use of guest passes. Create relationships with potential, new, and current members so that they feel at home at Tapout Fitness. Generating leads, making calls for booking appointments and selling memberships and personal training. Work regularly designated shifts and be a resource to members on the fitness floor by proactively providing professional service. Motivate members to set goals for themselves and create a workout plan that works for them. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience as Boxing or Kickboxing Coach. High School Diploma or GED. All Personal Trainers are required to become NCSF, ACSM, NSCA or ACE certified within 6 months of hire date. Fulfill required annual CEC’s and/or hours of service for each industry certification. Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire date.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate. Very competitive commission available that is above Industry Standard. Complimentary membership. Bonus Available.

Responsibilities:

• Attract business via member referrals, cold calls, corporate lead generation, territory outreach, telephone inquiries, sales follow up
• Ability to achieve and surpass all personal sales goals
• Perform all functions with the highest levels of integrity and adhere to company core values at all times
• Work closely with team members in driving new member personal training sales
• Maintain an atmosphere that makes all co-workers, members, and guests feel welcomed at all times
• Possess an enthusiastic, passionate, outgoing, friendly and ambitious personality

Qualifications:

• 1+ years sales experience preferred
• Strong rapport building and sales closing skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly as well as passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy
