Personal Service Coordinator
35 hours per week / $24.00 per hour

Summary: Serves as the primary support and case manager for adults with mental illness by assisting them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is not an exhaustive task list, and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or necessary by the supervisor or program director. Develops a Personal Service Plan and/ or Barrier list with each member that identifies his/her personal needs and goals
Mediates and advocates on behalf of the member to help him/her obtain and keep housing, health care benefits, entitlements, etc
Visits members in their place of residence, hospital or jail on an as-needed basis, in order to help them live successfully and to prevent them from becoming homeless
Transports members to appointments and on errands when appropriate
Oversees and monitors members' individual and group activities both inside the program and out in the community
Provides coaching, counseling, mentoring, instruction, training, feedback and positive reinforcement for members in areas such as money management, grooming and hygiene, meal preparation, public transportation and other independent living skills
Devises and implements strategies for outreach to members who tend to isolate themselves
Knowledgeable and practices in motivational interviewing and harm reduction
Supports individuals and team goals in community integration and employment. Works with Community Integration. Assists members in achieving community integration and employment goals
Participates in staff and community meetings and in the day-to-day operations of the program as needed
Required to bill 85 hours per month into the Electronic Health Care System
Maintains all records and documentation needed for program compliance and accountability in accordance with MHALA standards and funding source requirements

Summary

Summary
As the Vice President of Development and Communications, you'll provide visionary leadership to advance Didi Hirsch's mission by overseeing all aspects of development and communication. Primary Duties
Partners with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to establish and execute short and long-term development and communications goals that will both strengthen the Agency financially and enhance its stature.
Provides strategic fundraising updates and insights at Board meetings.
Along with the Committee Chair, leads the Development and Communications Board Committee
Participates in the executive management team to strengthen and support the programmatic, financial and operational goals of Didi Hirsch.
In consultation with the Executive Team, develops annual fundraising goals based on short and long-term Agency priorities.
Oversees a compressive individual and major gifts program as well as an institutional giving strategy, ensuring timely submissions and reporting of grants in partnership with program and finance teams.
Develops and executes an integrated communications strategy and plan, leveraging media, digital platforms, storytelling, and thought leadership to expand visibility and engagement.
Works with staff and consultants to develop a year-end fundraising appeal that results in increased giving from current contributors and support from new ones.
Oversees Agency events, including selection of outside contractors, committee development and logistics coordination. Events include Cultivation events, Suicide Prevention 5K Walk/Run, Open Houses and other gatherings.

Fosters a high-performing, collaborative team culture through recruitment, coaching, professional development, and succession planning.
Ensures that donors receive timely, effective acknowledgment and supporters receive regular updates about Agency's services and successes.
Oversees the development and updating of key policies and procedures and ensures cross-training within department.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business or a related discipline.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit development, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
Demonstrated success leading teams, campaigns, and major donor strategies.
Track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts and leading successful capital and/or comprehensive campaigns.
Proven success overseeing communications strategy, including media, digital engagement, and brand management. Comprehensive knowledge of development practices in a nonprofit environment, preferably including experience in an organization providing direct human services.
Demonstrated fundraising skills, including major donor cultivation and solicitation, grant writing and event planning. Experience with planned giving experience highly desirable.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting to the Supervisor of Clinical Services, the Care Coordinator is responsible for linking patients with appropriate health and social services to address specific needs and achieve treatment goals. This patient-centered role complements clinical services, such as counseling, by addressing social determinants of health that may negatively impact treatment success and overall quality of life. The Care Coordinator ensures that patients receive support to increase self-efficacy, self-advocacy, basic life skills, coping strategies, and self-management of biopsychosocial needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Connection:
Establish and maintain high-quality referrals and linkages to community resources, including housing, educational, social, prevocational, vocational, rehabilitative, and other services.
Actively assist patients with applications and maintenance of public benefits (e.g., Medi-Cal, Minor Consent Program, General Relief, and County-funded programs).
Support patients experiencing homelessness by helping them access the Coordinated Entry System (CES) and completing necessary intake and assessment documentation.
Develop relationships and protocols with external service providers to ensure patients have actual access to necessary services rather than just providing resource lists.
Ensure benefits are transferred when patients move across counties.
Coordination:

Work closely with county and state entities such as DPSS, DCFS, Probation, and Housing Providers to align health services with social services.

Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between SUD care, mental health care, medical care, and social services.

Educate patients on their rights and responsibilities related to care access and service coordination.

Productivity must meet a minimum of 50%, which includes providing direct billable services 4 out of 8 hours per working day. Care Coordinators will be eligible for incentive compensation according to the policy if productivity exceeds 62.5%, or 5 hours out of every 8 hour day.

The Finance Manager provides strategic financial leadership and operational oversight to ensure sound fiscal stewardship across all NCADD-SFV programs, including SAPC DMC-ODS, Prevention, Managed Care, and other government and private funding streams. This role is responsible for managing financial operations in collaboration with the external bookkeeper and auditors, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing cost reports, leading audits, strengthening internal controls, and supporting long-term financial sustainability.
The Finance Manager partners closely with the President & CEO to develop the annual organizational budget, conduct forecasting, and produce financial reporting that informs executive decision-making and Board governance.
This role is primarily on site, with hybrid potential to support operational collaboration with program, clinical, compliance, and administrative teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations & Accounting
Maintain the general ledger in partnership with the bookkeeper, ensuring compliance with GAAP and funder cost principles.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing reconciliation, revenue recognition, and month-end close for all funding streams.
Ensure proper classification and allocation of shared direct and indirect costs aligned with Cost Allocation Plan and County/State/Uniform Guidance requirements.
Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project accounting (e.g., facility renovations, signage, furniture & equipment).
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Reporting
Lead development of the annual budget in partnership with the CEO and program leadership, including multi-program cost modeling and scenario planning.
Monitor internal budgets, track variances, and deliver monthly executive-level financial dashboards.
Conduct financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, and multi-year sustainability modeling.
Prepare Board of Directors finance packets and present financials as requested.
Payroll Validation & Workforce Finance
Reconcile and verify payroll records, PTO accruals, overtime, 401(k) deductions, and employee benefits liabilities.
Coordinate with HR/Payroll to ensure accurate cost allocation by program and funding source.
Ensure compliance with labor cost reporting and time study standards when applicable.
Cost Reporting, Claims & Compliance
Prepare and submit SAPC DMC and other County/State fiscal cost reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract requirements.
Maintain audit-ready documentation for all claims, invoices, and financial transactions.
Support revenue cycle management and reimbursement optimization strategies.
Audit & Compliance Leadership
Lead financial audits, fiscal monitoring visits, and regulatory reviews.
Serve as primary contact with auditors, funders, and County/State fiscal oversight staff.
Implement and monitor internal controls that strengthen financial integrity and reduce disallowance risk.
Policies, Systems & Continuous Improvement
Update and maintain financial policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.
Optimize QuickBooks Online financial systems, chart of accounts, classes, projects, and reporting structure.
Support training of managers on budgeting, fiscal compliance, and procurement standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
3+ years progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit or public sector behavioral health or healthcare.
Strong working knowledge of government-funded cost reporting and grants/contracts accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.
Ability to interpret and apply funder policies, including federal cost principles and SAPC fiscal requirements.
Preferred
Experience with Los Angeles County SAPC DMC-ODS, Prevention, and Managed Care invoicing and cost reporting.
