Overview
Care Assistants provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit/department operations under direct supervision. Assignment of job responsibilities are delegated by the RN, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or Resource Manager assigned to supervise the Care Assistant and in accordance with this job description.

* Enrolled in a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing education program and have successfully completed the fundamentals in nursing course.
* Within the past three (3) years, was a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examination in any state.
* Completed an UAP (unlicensed assistive personnel) program in Missouri or another State (that meets current regulatory requirements) within the past three (3) years.
* Completed a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing program outside the United States and is awaiting the licensure examination in this country.
* Worked as a nurse assistant, emergency medical technician (EMT), or surgical technician within the past three (3) years.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse with clinical guidance from a clinically licensed behavioral health professional (BCBA, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Therapist). * Composes responses to internal and external requests for certificates of insurance, certificates of liability coverage, and claims histories.
* Assists the Insurance Program Manager with preparation and coordination of claims under all lines of insurance coverage.
* Processes vendor and indemnity payments and maintains files associated with employee practice liability and other liability claims.
* Creates and maintains paper and electronic filing of CDL drivers in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
* Composes, and maintains a list of OGC's responses to requests for notary bonds for employees.
* Coordinates with other departments involved in physician hiring by providing an application for professional liability insurance certification.
Support work of Senior Counsel and Staff Counsel and general office support:
* Coordinates, maintains, and updates calendar and schedule for Counsel; constantly monitors Counsel's schedule to ensure appropriate prioritization and delegation.
* Coordinates attorney-client privileged meetings, including coordinating with other leaders/departments, and other services needed to accomplish the meeting.
* Processes subpoenas and external meeting requests for CM and non-CM matters. Assists in the scheduling of meetings, depositions and court appearances. Escalates questions and concerns to coordinator, manager, and attorneys as appropriate.
* Collects, organizes, and analyzes patient records for counsel.
* Assists with the organization and tracking of case files.
* Ensures compliance with Continuing Legal Education filing and licensure requirements.

Overview

Overview

Overview
The Clinical Nutrition Specialist II provides high quality, comprehensive nutrition care to a defined patient population of higher acuity patients in an efficient, timely and caring manner.
