Job Description The Microbiology Technician, under the direction of the Quality Assurance Management team, provides support to the factory in microbiological analysis of finished product, utilities and raw materials for the positive release of materials meeting specifications. The Microbiology Technician will be responsible for monitoring production, quality data, sampling, testing and providing results to Quality team. The position requires in-dept knowledge of basic microbiology methods and technology. This position also requires effective communication skills to work with a variety of cross-functional customers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sampling, qualitative and quantitative microbiological examinations of data. Prepares, reviews, and reports results of microbiological analyses; maintain and document records in accordance with established procedures. Maintenance of the environmental monitoring program including sampling, testing, data entry and reporting results. Works with Quality, Product Development, and Food Safety teams to ensure integrity of micro data. Performs other duties as assigned.
