Job Purpose and Focus
To provide staff and students a safe, attractive, clean and efficient place to learn and develop and insure that building equipment and grounds are properly maintained. The employee shall devote his/her entire time to the care of the school property within the assigned. The employee shall take every precaution for the protection of the property. The employee shall serve as an advisor to the Supervisor of Operations on matters pertaining and limited to, safety, maintenance of the districts buildings, grounds and equipment. Job tasks may differ depending on the season.

Replenish and cleans soap and paper dispensers
Wash chalkboards, desks, chairs, walls, tables, and other room surfaces and furnishings
Clean and wash lockers
Vacuum areas as needed with various vacuum cleaners, including a backpack vacuum
Perform all other light housekeeping chores
Maintain floors including floor finishing and floor machine operation
Remove trash and re-lines receptacles
Change light bulbs
Assist in summer building clean up as directed by the Supervisor of Operations

Salary:$46,600 - $90,934 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Behavior Consultant is responsible for consultation to constituent school district programs and/or Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) center-based programs regarding the planning and implementation of behavior support services.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
Provides consultant services on individual students served by constituent school districts and/or GISD center-based programs.
Provides consultation to administrators and instructional staff regarding district policies, practices, and procedures for positive behavior support.
Provides consultation to administrators, instructional, and support staff on the planning and implementation of behavior support interventions/strategies/programs.
Provides in-service activities to school district personnel in the collection of behavior data, functional analysis, and other related topics.
Provides parents with techniques to assess and implement positive behavior strategies in the home/community environments.
As needed, participates as a member of a Student Assistance Team, Tier 2 or Tier 3 Behavior Support Team meetings, Individualized Education Program Team (IEPT) meetings, or Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) meetings.
Participates in staff development and in-service activities.
Services as a liaison to community agencies regarding behavior support and related services.
Provides consultation to school personnel regarding relationships with parents and care providers concerning behavior support and related services.
Supports the district system development to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for behavior.
Utilizes the work at GISD implementation team to implement at the Local Education Agency (LEA) levels.
Guides LEA problem solving and implementation planning through a data-based decision-making process designed to use capacity, fidelity, and student outcome data.
Consults, counsels, and collaborates with parents, school personnel, students, and appropriate community agencies regarding behavioral and educational concerns developed in a multi-tiered system of support.
Has a basic understanding of academic and behavioral development milestones for school aged children.
Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
Other Duties:
May serve as a resource person to local school district improvement teams related to the assigned area of responsibility.
Represents the district on various community agencies and professional organizations as appropriate to the assigned area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Limited or full approval as school social worker (BSW or MSW), school psychologist, counselor, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or teacher consultant for the emotionally impaired required. School social workers must hold valid social work license (P.A. 610 of 2004) through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). School counselors must hold a Michigan School Guidance Counselor License or valid Michigan teacher certificate with an endorsement in guidance and counseling.
Social Workers not currently holding full MSW approval must at minimum: be a LARA licensed bachelor level SSW, be enrolled in a Master of Social Work program, and continue to make annual progress with completion and temporary approval within 3 years.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of satisfactory experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting and/or successful and documented experience working with individuals with behavior challenges required.
Skills/Other:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and oral communication with administrators, staff, parents/guardians, and community agencies. Demonstrated enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents, school personnel, and community agencies. Knowledgeable about educational organizations, educational law, and the areas of educational assessment and evaluation. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skill sets change with technology and the needs of the district. Training/knowledge in the areas of Positive Support Systems, Social Emotional Learning, and/or other related behavior pedagogy. Experience with collecting behavior data. Demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position. Works successfully as a member of the team. Has the ability to utilize meeting outcomes to effectively run meetings, action plan, and follow through utilizing a coaching model. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Ability to travel to and from GISD, constituent school districts, students' homes, and other agencies. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Job Summary:

Job Summary:
The School of Business Advisor reports to the Director of the School of Business. The School of Business Advisor will provide direct support in the development, progression and completion of students' educational and career goals by providing academic and transfer advising. Support student success and program completion by creating "My Academic Pathways" (MAPs) with each student. Actively listen and respond to student needs and if needed, connect them to other wrap around services such as tutoring, success coaching, counseling, financial aid, etc. Support overall campus programs such as orientation, transfer and other related campus events. Duties may include evenings, occasional Saturdays, and work at extension centers and various off campus locations.
In addition to their advising responsibilities, the School of Business Advisor teaches a minimum of one (1) course in the School of Business depending upon program needs and the candidate's qualifications. Teaching assignments may be on LCC's downtown campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. Advisors are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students, and to be available for student assistance outside of class. Job Summary:
The Occupation & Environmental Safety (OES) department performs critical work supporting the LCC Board Policy on Occupation & Environmental Safety. This position reports to the Director of OES and provides support by helping coordinate and advise on safety and environmental-related activities and applicable policies and procedures. This position requires exceptional communication, organizational, and computer skills and the ability to work independently, think critically, and respond to stressful situations effectively with diplomacy. This position will assist the Director of OES in establishing and maintaining a college-wide occupational & environmental safety culture. This position May serve as the designee for the Director of OES in meetings and workgroups as requested. This position requires an on-campus, in-person presence.
The OES Coordinator will play a critical role as one of the college's liaisons to Michigan's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), building and fire codes under the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) and Michigan's Bureau of Fire Services (BSF), environmental regulations under Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Fire Services, and the Ingham, Eaton, and Livingston County Health Departments.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and management for the day-to-day operations of clinical experiences within the Community Health Services Education and Medical Assistant (CHSE/MEDA) Programs. ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Project Secretary provides clerical and data management support for the Early On Program. Responsibilities include serving as first point of contact, maintaining student database information and files on multiple platforms, and coordinating the distribution of reports. Responsible for working with intermediate school district and local school district building/program administrators.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
Serves as a liaison between the assigned program, other ISD programs and staff from the constituent school districts and business/community partners.
Provides support for other staff within the department to ensure consistent workflow and timely completion of department activities.
Collaborates with other departments to support the Early On Program.
Schedules, coordinates, and promotes meetings/events/activities in assigned area as required by the position.
Prepares written correspondence, complex reports and newsletters, as requested.
Maintains confidential information, files, and accurate records.
Assists with preparation and distribution of materials for meetings, programs, and training activities.
Creates and maintains accurate, up-to-date databases in alignment with Early On compliance indicators.
Conducts pupil account activities as assigned.
Utilizes current accounting software to perform routine bookkeeping tasks, such as preparing purchase orders, invoices, check requests, travel reimbursements and payroll, and coordinating account data with Business Services staff.
Coordinates distribution of reports and materials to intermediate school district and local district staff.
Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
Other Duties:
Performs routine tasks necessary to carry out assigned responsibilities in the department.
Performs other related duties in the department, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent plus thirty hours of coursework of study beyond high school required. College level coursework in office administration, business, or technology preferred. Associate's degree preferred. Documented continuing education credits, school board Continuing Education Units (CEU's), workshops, or seminars equivalent to thirty plus hours may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum three years' experience in a business or educational agency required.
Skills/Other:
Ability to pass proficiency testing at the intermediate level in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, business math, spelling, and typing (45 wpm) required. Demonstrated effective use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software required. Competent in the use of the Internet. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skill sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Ability to solve problems logically and effectively, to work independently, to manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate effective time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work a flexible workday, work week, and work year. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position. Discretion with confidential information. Ability to maintain a calm, poised, and professional image at all times. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies and administrative guidelines.

Job Summary:
Adjunct Positions are filled by semester on an as needed basis. Applicants in this applicant pool are reviewed when the department has an immediate need to fill a vacancy. Review of applications will then stop for the semester once the vacancy has been filled.
Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Psychology. Depending upon program needs and the candidate's qualifications, in-person teaching assignments will be on LCC's downtown Lansing campus. ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides services to students, staff, and families that improve and develop the use of speech and language for eligible students with disabilities.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
Conducts evaluations related to language, articulation, fluency, and/or voice for students with suspected disabilities and students already eligible for special education services.
Provides direct one-on-one and group speech and language services to eligible students with disabilities.
Provides consultation to staff and parents/guardians regarding speech and language services, including use of augmentative communication systems and devices related to the individual needs of students.
Develops and writes annual goals and short-term instructional objectives for students assigned to the caseload.
Attends and participates in Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) and Individualized Education Program Team (IEPT) meetings as requested.
Compiles and maintains records, written reports and other documentation for students assigned to the caseload.
Works as a team member with instructional and ancillary staff to refer eligible students for speech and language services.
Works as a team member with instructional staff and parents/guardians to refer eligible students to outside agencies and other community resources.
Assumes primary responsibility for requisitioning and maintaining equipment and supplies for speech and language services.
Provides in-service information and training to staff for the integration of communication supports into daily classroom instruction.
Consults, counsels, and collaborates with parents, school personnel, students and appropriate community agencies regarding behavioral and educational concerns developed in a multi-tiered system of support.
Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
Other Duties:
Drives to and from district sites, constituent school districts, and students' homes as assigned.
Represents the district on various community service agencies and professional organizations as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's degree required in speech-language pathology or a valid Michigan teacher's certificate with full approval in the speech and language impaired required. A valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the State of Michigan. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
Clinical fellows with Educational Limited Speech-Language Pathologist license from the State of Michigan will be considered, on-site clinical fellowship supervision is available.
Experience:
Previous experience with students with severe handicaps and augmentative communication systems and devices preferred.
Skills/Other:
