At Midland States Bank, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). Position Summary
This position leads Midland States Bank's enterprise-wide analytics program, transforming data into actionable insights that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation across all business lines. The Manager - IT Enterprise Analytics combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and people leadership to advance the Bank's analytics capabilities from traditional reporting to predictive, automated, and insight-driven decision support. This role partners with business and technology leaders to shape the Bank's data strategy, foster a data-informed culture, and deliver analytics products that support organizational growth.

Collaborate with business leaders across lines (Commercial, Retail, Wealth, Mortgage, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Risk) to co-own KPIs and ensure analytics supports performance goals.
Data Products, Modernization & Innovation
Lead the transition from traditional reporting to data product ownership, emphasizing usability, accessibility, and business impact.
Lead adoption of modern data platforms (cloud, APIs, data marts, distributed analytics) in collaboration with IT and data engineering.
Introduce advanced analytics capabilities including AI/ML, LLMs, and predictive modeling to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
Champion automation and AI-driven tools to enhance decision speed and accuracy.
Data Governance & Compliance
Co-chair enterprise data governance, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with BSA, OCC, FDIC, FRB, etc. regulations.
Establish best practices for data quality, metadata management, and standardized definitions across systems and dashboards.
Maintain high ethical standards in handling sensitive data and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Culture & Business Partnership
Promote data literacy and self-service enablement across the organization, empowering teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior executives, helping translate complex analytics into actionable business strategies.
Actively collaborate across departments to create alignment, transparency, and shared accountability for performance outcomes.

The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed.
May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.

Position Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a proven ability to lead enterprise analytics initiatives.
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams with demonstrated success coaching and motivating team members.
Strong technical expertise with Power BI, data modeling, and SQL; familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS).
Advanced skills in data visualization and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible format.
Experience integrating data across multiple systems (Salesforce, core banking, CRM, finance, and risk).
Deep understanding of analytics best practices and industry trends.
Working knowledge of AI, automation, and advanced analytics techniques preferred.

Position Summary
The Community Banking and Commercial Lending Intern will support the Northern Commercial Banking team by assisting with sales, business development, community engagement, and commercial lending initiatives. This internship provides exposure to multiple areas of banking through hands-on experience, shadowing opportunities, and direct mentorship. Rate of Pay: $20 - $23 per hour depending on experience
POSITION PURPOSE
As a Financial Partner you will be responsible for promoting the financial well-being of both existing and new members by building, maintaining, and deepening relationships through exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, guiding members toward suitable account and loan products, cross-selling credit union services, and referring members to other lines of business as needed, along with handling cash and processing transactions efficiently
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver exceptional member service by accurately processing all branch transactions following proper procedures which include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, traveler's checks, money orders, placing check holds, verifying identification and endorsements, wire transactions, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Assist members in setting up ancillary business products, including Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, Merchant Services, and ACH Manager
Assist the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in balancing and maintaining ATMs and vaults, training new employees, and executing opening and closing procedures
Demonstrate an understanding of various business structures, such as Sole Proprietorships, LLCs, and Corporations
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered by Heritage Financial Credit Union
Engage in conversations with business members about available commercial loan products and their structures
Identify lending opportunities through discussions with business members while opening accounts.
Participate in outbound activities such as community events, volunteering, call campaigns, and business outreach.
Proactively reach out to new memberships established through business partners to assess needs and offer appropriate additional products and services.
Recommend improvements to workflows, efficiency, and quality of service.
Support and promote all HFCU initiatives for employee development, actively engaging in personal growth by utilizing available tools and resources
Submit thorough referrals to the Commercial Loan Department
Understand the documentation required for initiating a commercial loan application
Engage with Heritage Financial teammates development initiatives and actively participate in personal growth using available resources
Organize priorities effectively to achieve monthly goals while maintaining a high standard of work quality
Meet or exceed established performance goals
Respond to inbound member calls, addressing their needs by assisting with account placement and consumer loan products (excluding real estate loans) and promote and facilitating digital enrollments and adoption for all HFCU products and services.
Perform duties in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Credit Union policies and procedures
Performing account and loan intake and funding
Manage digital inquiries and requests across various platforms, including chat, online accounts, and marketing leads
Effectively perform Lobby Engagement and First Impression Opening daily
Ability to open and close the branch as assigned by branch management
Requirements:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
NMLS License required. A Notary License is required or must be obtained within 9 months of hire.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Acquire a foundational understanding of the Commercial Loan Products offered by the credit union. Submit referrals to the Commercial Loan Department as appropriate.
This position requires that the employee gain a working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and how they will affect their work. The employee will comply with all requirements of the BSA and cooperate with the designated BSA Officer in assuring compliance

This is a critical leadership role within GFCC, requiring strong domain expertise in AML compliance, advanced understanding of AML risk typologies, data, model risk management and a track record of operational execution within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
Support the Global Head of TM in managing the GFCC transaction monitoring coverage program, including identifying relevant money laundering (ML)/terrorist financing (TF) red flags, typologies, and emerging patterns. This individual will be responsible for implanting a program to maintain an up-to-date mapping of these risks to American Express products, services, and business segments to establish drive appropriate monitoring coverage.
Lead the evaluation of identified automated and manual controls for their effectiveness in detecting the identified risks as part of the coverage assessment.
Identifying and documenting findings, identified risks, and recommended enhancement to be shared with relevant stakeholders
Implement monitoring to identify ad-hoc coverage assessment needs, through the implementation of trigger event to review existing coverage
Drive and implement process for periodic reviews of non-automated alerted activity to identify emerging risks or coverage gaps
Monitor and control rule changes to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, internal policies, and evolving risk typologies; develop and monitoring controls to ensure rule changes are implemented as designed

Teller
Starting Pay: 17.50/hour
Position Summary
Provides customer service, processing both business and individual banking transactions; manages a cash drawer, cross-sells bank services. Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions. Trial balances cash drawer throughout the day. Balances and rolls the drawer for the day at close of shift, comparing the balance to the system balance. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
Primary Accountabilities
* Institutional knowledge of banking.
* Receive cash and checks for deposit, verifying amounts, looking at endorsements and reviewing checks for possible fraud including holds
* Examines cash carefully to guard against counterfeit bills.
* Cashes checks for customers in accordance with bank policy. Enters transactions into computer system and issues receipts.
* Assists customers with transactions and ATM operations.
* Provides accurate customer service to include balancing cash drawer throughout the day to reduce and eliminate teller differences.
* Understanding basic knowledge of deposit and lending products & services.
* Able to identify correct product types through needs-based questioning allowing them to build and deepen customer relationships.
* Consistently demonstrates knowledge of bank products and services through referring products and services to corresponding business partners, assist customers on electronic services and entering opportunities into the customer information software.
* Serves as relief and /or backup teller in other locations of Midland States Bank.
* Timely completion of all assigned learning activities.
* Actively participate in weekly huddles and one on one coaching sessions.
* Demonstrates and models Midland States Bank core values that support the bank's culture.
* Participate in bank sponsored community activities.
* The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings, and willingness to travel periodically, to locations within market as needed.
* May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.
* Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
* Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
* Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma.
Ability to:
* Stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to lift and transport coin and currency bags as required (bags may weigh between 25lbs and 50lbs).
