Qualifications
As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. As part of the application process the applicant will be required to complete the United States Secret Service Applicant Physical Abilities Test (APAT). It is a physical fitness assessment which consists of four components (push-ups, sit-ups, Illinois Agility Run and a 1.5 Mile Run). The APAT is designed to measure the current level of general physical fitness of an applicant, which serves as an indicator of an applicant's ability to safely complete a vigorous physical training program. It evaluates the applicant's ability to perform the physical tasks required on the job by measuring muscular and dynamic strength, endurance, flexibility, aerobic capacity and other factors related to physical aptitude. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.
Additional information
* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.
Applicants will be required to travel to all phases of the hiring process at their own expense. If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses will not be authorized for first duty location.

The position requires working with a high degree of independence as well as with other state, local and federal law enforcement partners. The work involves long hours of research, interviewing suspects, hostile witnesses, and making arrests.
At times agents are required to work fluctuating work schedules, and may involve danger while working undercover. Travel is required throughout the State of Arizona, including interstate and international journeys at times.
This position is distinguished from other investigator classes by its responsibility for writing affidavits to obtain warrants, court-authorized searches, seizures, wiretaps, and arrests.
The highly complex nature of the investigations are not limited to agency-specific violations. Agents may be called upon to conduct follow-up investigations in foreign countries. Case expertise requirements include but are not limited to an intricate knowledge of investigating financial crimes, document crimes, workers compensation fraud, life insurance fraud, vehicle theft fraud, illegal enterprises, and organized criminal syndicates.
This position requires investigation to articulate details of an investigation and problem solve with supervisors, prosecuting attorneys and at times defense attorneys and other law enforcement agencies.

Job Summary:

Retail Loss Prevention:
We are excited to add this critical member to the FEATURE Team. The purpose of this position is to be a presence and a deterrent from possible theft in the FEATURE brick and mortar locations. This position is strictly hands-off, and any issues will be relayed directly to the store manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be present on the sales floor at all times unless on lunch or break.
Be watching the iPad provided for surveillance of any blind spots or areas that do not have constant sales associate presence.
Greet the guests as they come in and as they exit with “Hello, welcome in” and “Thank you for stopping by.” Be kind as you are the first face the clients see when entering the store, and we want to start the client experience positively.
This is NOT a security position.
Write reports for any issues that arise and present them to the store manager.
Check hourly for empty hangers on display and watch cameras to find where the product went.
Check cases to ensure they are locked hourly
Inform guests of our bag policy
The position is required to stay in the store until all guests have left after store closing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous loss prevention experience is preferred but not required
Physically able to stand for long hours.
Be friendly and have the ability to deescalate any situations
