Responsibilities
Perform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions.
Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting most effective procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results, and report results.
Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities, or changes in patient responses.
Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report deficiencies and failures.
Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history).
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date rquired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty can be accepted
Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty can be accepted
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Radiologic Technologist issued by Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences

Responsibilities:
Administer medication to residents
Respond to resident's emergency calls in a timely manner
Assure residents are being cared for per established guidelines
Responsible for following up on concerns reported by non-licensed staff
What you bring to the table:
Active RN License in Illinois required
A desire to provide a high level of care and customer service is required
Excellent organizations skills
