POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and Residential Coordinator, the Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides individualized care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs promote independence, dignity, and well-being while ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards in a residential setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Support daily routines and active treatment programs to foster resident independence.
Prepare meals, snacks and drinks in accordance with individual dietary needs and restrictions.
Administer medications and treatments as outlined in the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and physician orders.
Accurately complete all required documentation in Therap, including:
ISP data
Medication administration
Seizure logs
General event reports (GERs)
Intake and elimination records
Incident reports
Vitals, time tracking, and T-Logs
Recognize and report health changes, including emergency responses (e.g., cardiopulmonary distress).
Assist with medical procedures such as:
Taking vital signs
Administering enemas, suppositories
Supporting specimen collection
Accurately complete medical documentation and follow infection control protocols.
Participate as an active member of the resident's Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment per Title XXII regulations, including housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation duties.
Identify and report changes in resident conditions to the RN or physician.
Escorts residents to recreational activities and medical appointments and provides assistance to day program buses.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, conservators, staff, and community partners.
Support recreation and leisure activities tailored to individual interests.
Participate in fire drills, emergency procedures, and monthly safety training.
Report maintenance, safety concerns, and on-the-job injuries promptly.
Complete required monthly training (minimum of 3 hours).

5:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Split Shift
6:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Split Shift

Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a drug/alcohol screening.
Must obtain a criminal record clearance through the California Department of Public Health.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

President, MarWest Commercial Association Management

The President of MarWest Commercial will lead the expansion efforts of sourcing new association/property management contracts in multiple states, have direct responsibility of managing to expectations agreed upon within the annual Performance Agreement, with the intent of growing EBITDA year-over-year, managing Association/Property Manager team leaders including interaction with Board of Directors and Unit Owners they serve. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with FirstService departments such as IT, HR, Legal and Corporate Accounting to ensure the business is appropriately managed/supported in these matrix organizations. Further, the President will work with the Client Accounting Controller to insure all property level financial reporting is accurate and timely. As a member of FirstService West Region Leadership Team, this person is a believer in and an active supporter of FirstService philosophies and culture in respect to staff, clients, and community that advances the FirstService brand in terms of image, reputation, differentiation, and professionalism. The President of MarWest Commercial will report to the President, FirstService Residential California.
Compensation: $200K - $225K Plus Bonus
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Job Responsibilities:

Growth and Strategy
* Positively contribute to sales and EBITDA goals
* Provide overall executive leadership and strategic direction for the Commercial Management Division. This includes frequent interaction with association managers, business leaders, existing clients, prospective new clients, FirstService affiliates and FirstService Residential senior leaders.
* Responsible for annual business plan - driving financial performance to achieve targeted performance margins as identified in business plan.
* Provides year-end input to corporate budget and in particular, to those line items within area of responsibility.
* Maintain client retention goals as outlined in business plan.
* Develop and implement strategies that promote the organization's mission, core values and global service standards.
* Identify client opportunities with new and existing clients. In partnership with Business Development and Marketing, support and participate in client presentations that lead to generating new business.
* Drive business improvement and compliance through new or enhanced technology/processes. Influence stakeholders and teams to adopt changes including communication plans related to key initiatives.
* Commits to attending and leading in certain circumstances all designated company meetings and events within areas of responsibility; including supervisor meetings, team meetings, client meetings and others that may arise from time to time.
* Build and support the organizational culture that drives passion for continuous improvement and development throughout the company.
* Works collectively with the regional leadership on strategies to effect and implement new company procedures, policy changes, etc.
* Drives and supports the launch of new clients into the company's operations both prior to effective date of new contract and up through an established onboarding process.
Operations:
* Follows regional and/or national policies and operational protocols.
* Implement best practices, innovation, creative thinking, and employment of business practices throughout the company.
* In a growing and evolving culture of change, lead and participate as an Executive Sponsor for Regional or National initiatives.
* Manage and direct regional leaders (Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, and Support Teams) to ensure the company's operational priorities are aligned with the company policy, legal guidelines and long-term goals of growth.
* Promote the consistent use of all company tools and resources to exceed client and vendor satisfaction.
* Encourage participation in at least one outside committee. For example, NAIOP or CREW.
* Adheres to all company policies and guidelines.
* Reviews and approves direct report expense reimbursables.
* Review and approves operational expenses as required through regional/national policies.
* Work with key vendors/partners to find new products and services that benefit our clients
* Have a solid understanding of Association laws and may be required to obtain broker licenses in multiple states

Education & Experience:
* Must possess a college degree; or equivalent industry experience.
* Preferred to possess a licensed California Real Estate Broker; may need to obtain additional licenses for other regions in which MarWest performs third party property management
* Has a minimum of 5 years' experience in an executive leadership role within commercial property management and preferably within the niche of commercial association management
* 5+ years of proven leadership skills and ability to lead large teams at an executive level or greater.

This is a full-time position with typical scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. May be required to work overtime as needed and approved by supervisor, including occasional evening meetings. Consistent and regular attendance required.
