Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure expectations and ensure informed consent.
Perform office procedures such as trigger point injections, intrathecal pump refills, Botox, and joint injections.
Manage patient triage, respond to patient inquiries, and address provider inbox messages.
Stay up to date with advancements in interventional pain management through educational sessions, webinars, and conferences.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing program or Physician Assistant certification from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Preferred experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or spine care.
Strong communication and patient education skills.
Spanish Speaking preferred.

In this role, you will:
Be responsible for the daily opening and closing procedures of the office.
Welcome all patients and visitors by greeting them in a pleasant, professional manner.
Assist in comforting patients and maintaining reception area.

Collect co pays and balance total finances of the office on a daily basis.

Set up procedural spaces, Sterilize instruments for urologic procedures
Assist physician with exams and/or procedures
Update and maintain all electronic patient records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format
Manage Physician inbox and prioritize tasks assigned via ONCO EMR
Work in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility
Assist in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed

Escort patients to exam rooms

Qualifications:
Highschool diploma
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Skills & Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At least 1 year of working in an outpatient medical facility.
Strong interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
Experience with EMR's
Attention to detail and professional conduct
