Essential Functions: * Set up/breakdown banquet meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, sugar, breadsticks, etc.), table linens, table settings, center pieces, dishes, audio-visual equipment, and all other event provisions * Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces * Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests * Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards * Greet and take food and drink orders from guests, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests * Adheres to all grooming and attire policies of Noble House Hotels and Resorts as outlined in the Policy. * Ensure great menu knowledge * Greet all guests by name, if possible * Handle guest opportunities on first impact and ensure that all guests have an experience up to Noble House Hotels standards * Complete side work including cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware Secondary Functions: * Other duties as assigned Requirements Education & Experience: * Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages * Previous experience in a similar position in a hospitality environment a plus * Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding * Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image. * Attend and participate in-service training as required by federal, state, and company requirements * Report any safety and maintenance issues to the Food and Beverage Manager Physical Demands: * Ability to work long hours as needed * Ability to lift 25 lbs. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time * Ability to squat and bend * Ability to work in hot and humid conditions Mental Demands: * Ability to focus on the attention to detail and complete assigned tasks consistent with management directives * Able to work independently and follow directives from leadership Noble House and the Inn on Fifth is a proud equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to attracting, retaining, and maximizing the performance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
