Practice areas will include defense of a variety of personal injury and other tort claims, including auto, premises, products liability, medical malpractice and municipal matters. Qualified candidates should have at least 1 - 3 years experience of litigation experience. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for conducting depositions of fact and expert witnesses; developing, sending and responding to discovery; effectively communicating with clients; researching and drafting motions and briefs; and generally working cases from intake to trial. Key Responsibilities: * Represent clients in insurance defense matters * Manage and litigate cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial. * Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and discovery responses. * Work closely with insurance adjusters. * Maintain and manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
