Qualifications:
Education:
High School Education or GED
Experience:
Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a mold maker. (A machinist does not qualify as a mold maker)
Plastics/Molding experience
Experience in the tool and die industry, preferably with precise, high-quality, injection molds.
Experience with CNC machining and programming
Qualified as a Journeyman Mold Maker.
Have experience with fitting and benching of molds.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
Strong math skills
Must be able to stand for long hours (8-10 hours daily)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Shows good judgment
Proficient in the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and/or CAD files.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Strong understanding of mold design principles, engineering tolerances, and material properties
