Centex Machine by Fathom is looking for an outstanding Milling machinist candidate for our 1st shift to continue to grow and expand our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation of CNC Milling machine centers
MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using G-code editing
Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
Observe all company quality and safety procedures
Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
Participates in Lean and 6S manufacturing events
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
Great communication skills
Mazak conversational programming and operation a plus
Knowledge of tooling and tooling requirements
Must read and write English
