Operate Baca Robo Saw to cut to shop drawings and specified layouts.
Operating profiling machines to shape and polish specified edge details
Safely cut and polish sink holes to templates
Use tools to safely grind and polish edges with portable power tools
Fill small chips and perform touch ups
Self inspect work upon completion
Responsible to meet quality expectations set forth by Management for all work performed.

Qualifications

SUMMARY
The CNC Operator maintains and observes machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality of workpieces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
* Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
* Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
* Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
* Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.

* Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and detect malfunctions, or out-of-tolerance machining, by using precision measuring instruments including a micrometer and caliper.
* Conduct quality inspections using calipers, tapes, height gauges, check fixtures, and drop gauges.
* Consult with quality assurance and inspect work pieces throughout the production floor to identify out of tolerance machining.
* Consistently meet production standards as outlined by the production schedule, and manager without compromising quality and/or safety.
* Follow and comply with ISO quality procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness of work area.
* Must be able to interact in person with coworkers and the public.
