Responsibilities for this Position
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: Mount, secure, and indicate fixtures and workpiece on machine. Selects and installs cutting tools in machine. Calls up specified program, loads control media such as disk in machine, or enters actual programming code commands as required. Calculates and sets machine controls to position spindle in relationship to workpiece and to regulate factors such as cutting depth and speed, may also perform preliminary dry run. Monitor displays, coolant flow, and machine operation. Establishes offsets. Verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications using height gages, surface plates, dial gage, micrometer, calipers, and gage pin. Operate manual mill to ream and countersink holes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all work in a manner that conforms to safety and environmental policies of the Company.
Responsible for following tool routings and blueprints to set up 6 axis turning centers, 6 axis mill turn centers and automatic chucking lathes.
Responsible for adding or removing tooling in the machine as needed. Setting tool offsets, setting part offsets, and making any adjustments needed to maintain print specifications.
Perform all inspections per work instructions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, plug and snap gages and all in process gages.
Operators are required to load/unload, de-burr, and clean parts from the machines.
This classification also requires team members to rotate into all areas of classification regularly.
Assists or performs training of other personnel on job duties as directed by Supervisor.

What youll do
Work in our Warehouse assisting with preventative maintenance and operation of the Extrusion machine to manufacture company products
Complete initial daily set up/inspection, end of day procedures, and/or calibration of the extrusion machine as needed
Work closely with the Warehouse Team to meet production targets and other goals
Participate in safety training and initiatives as assigned
Performs routine maintenance and repairs as needed

CNC Machinist
Summary/Objective
The CNC Machinist produces machine parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. The CNC Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs productions lots, communicates with coworkers regarding production runs and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards.
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
