General Description: The Live Tool CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of Doosan CNC lathes equipped with live tooling and Fanuc controls to produce precision-machined components. This position plays a critical role in maintaining part quality, machine performance, and overall productivity on the second shift. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of multi-axis turning operations, blueprint reading, tool setups, and in-process inspection techniques. Complete required documentation including job travelers, inspection sheets, and production logs. Collaborate with programming, engineering, and quality teams for troubleshooting and process improvements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S and company safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or machining certificate preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and using standard inspection tools. Familiarity with G-code programming and ability to make minor edits and offsets at the machine. Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, cutting tools, and basic machining principles. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on second shift. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes, preferably Doosan with Fanuc controls and live tooling. Experience operating lathes with sub-spindles and Y-axis features. Adequately moves finished parts from work center using pallet jack to appropriate location. Effectively assists in setting up work centers following work instructions and company processes/procedures. Job DescriptionDescription: Weld Machine Operator---- Responsible for running various welders and other machines efficiently, inspecting parts, and keeping work areas organized and clean. Adequately moves finished parts from work center using pallet jack to appropriate location. Effectively assists in setting up work centers following work instructions and company processes/procedures. Accurately performs and follows all general machine Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) programs. Assists and provides effective and efficient training to other associates. Efficiently operate welders and other machines at or above the determined rate set by management. Proficiently sets up jobs and checks welders for proper settings (current, squeeze, hold, etc). Carefully inspects parts using calipers, micrometers, gages, force testers, etc., and records results in the appropriate system. Accurately recognizes visual defects on part. Fluent on Plex system keeping entries accurate and true (work center status). Adequately completes rate sheets and submits them in a timely manner. Thoroughly cleans work area by putting all items in appropriate locations. Successfully completes Pay for Skills and Training Within Industry (TWI) programs.
