The role requires previous experience in operating a Kodak Nexpress SX 3900. Qualifications KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Running the award winning Kodak Nexpress SX 3900 on a daily basis. • Ripping files produced from static and variable data files using digital print equipment. • Excellent color vision and understanding for digitally manipulating color calibration set-up to meet expectations for color targets. • Reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal or external customers. • Conducting regular and special maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance. • Recording maintenance and service calls in maintenance logbook as required. • Inventorying and order spare parts. Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
