Job Summary:
As a Robot Operator in the Folding Guard division, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining robotic equipment used in the production of safety and security systems, including wire mesh partitions, safety railings, and storage solutions. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate robotic machinery and equipment, performing tasks such as loading materials, program setting, and execution of operational sequences. Conduct regular maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify and report any product defects or machinery malfunctions to the supervisor.
Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of safety gear and emergency procedures. Ensure that the robotic equipment is operated in a safe manner to prevent accidents.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, times, and any issues encountered. Assist in the preparation of reports on production performance and machine efficiency.
Work closely with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to optimize production processes. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotic technology relevant to the Folding Guard division. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in operating robotic machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Essential Duties

About the Moldmaker position:
Primary Job Responsibilities
Build tooling to specification within the time frame scheduled, using mold designs, company design standards, and industry design standards.
Lead Mold Build Projects:
Ensure that the project gets completed to specification and on-time;

Keep a clean and organized work area (toolbox, machines, gage tables, etc.)
Log setup and tool change times accurately using data collection terminals
Read and interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances
Select appropriate tooling from vending machines and tool cribs
Follow and complete setup instructions, tool layouts, and checklists
Conduct visual inspections and complete 1st article inspections to verify part quality
Perform minor program edits (tool locations, speeds/feeds) under supervision
Change stick tools, drills, boring bars, reamers, knurls (live and static tools)
Collaborate with engineering to optimize speeds, feeds, and cycle times
Mentor and support junior machinists and operators
Complete all job-related documentation accurately
Suggest process improvements and machining best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
8-10 years of precision CNC machine setup experience in a machine shop environment
Strong experience with measuring instruments and quality inspections
Proficiency with multi-axis CNC lathes, Swiss-type machines, and machining centers
Ability to write CNC programs using CAM software
Deep understanding of tooling, tool holders, inserts, and machine controls
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Reliable and consistent attendance is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience mentoring others in a shop environment
Familiarity with setup optimization and process improvement initiatives

SUMMARY
The CNC Vertical Mill Machinist is responsible for the machining of products in order to meet customer specifications with minimum direction from area Lead or Supervisor. Operation and light set-up would be done by selecting and installing tooling, updating fixturing, and pulling CNC machining programs.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum three to five years work experience
Enrolled in or vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.
Practical knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & T
Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices
Knowledge of CNC programming and G & M code
Basic to intermediate tool probe
Demonstrated ability at operating computer numerical control machines
Ability to read blueprints to ensure accuracy in part making
Ability to speak basic English language
Must be able to understand three and four axis machining.
Must have a working knowledge of computers.
Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and work from handmade sketches.
Demonstrated knowledge of G-Code programming and machine practices.
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:
