Reports accidents, injuries and incidents immediately to the supervisor
Responsible for assuring productivity and quality standards are consistently met
Responsible for maintaining an orderly area around utilized machines and drop areas, housekeeping and material staging areas
Perform general preventive maintenance on machine(s)
Complete production logs
Adhere to Quality policy at all times
Follow written quality procedures for specific job functions assigned
Requirements:
Required education/experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of one year experience utilizing press brake equipment in a steel fabrication, service center or manufacturing environment heavily preferred, other experience considered.
Necessary (required) skills:
Ability to read & interpret documents, instructions, manuals, &/or blueprints
Ability to accurately read tape measure, calipers, micrometer
Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide all units of measure using whole numbers and fractions
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Crane & forklift experience required
PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds, operate overhead cranes and forklift.
