OTHER INFORMATION The position will be based full time in our Tomball, TX facility. Evening and weekends depending on company needs. Position will have a 60-day probation period. At the end of the probation period, the machinist will be reviewed to determine competency of work performance and compliance with established company safety directives. Position will be compensated on an hourly basis, with bi-weekly pay periods. Able to understand, read, write and speak English proficiently in order to communicate with shop supervision and safety directives. Legal to work in the United States. Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, physical performance evaluation and background check. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift. Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs., walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance. Must be able to use hands for assembly and tool usage. Must not have allergies or issues related to handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a machine-shop environment. Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time CNC Machinist (Day Shift) to join our team in Conroe, TX. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate machines. (CNC Lathe). Experience cutting rotary shouldered connections preferred. Ensures machines are in working order and properly maintained. Perform minor repairs on equipment. Follow established safety policies and procedures. On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled. Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures. Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department. Education/Experience: Minimum of two to five years' experience in a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
