We are currently seeking an individual to collaborate with us as a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the set up and observation of machines to verify the accuracy of the machine settings and to detect the malfunction or out-of-tolerance machining, by using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Additionally, the CNC Machinist is responsible for the set and controlledoperation of computerized deburring and tooling machines to perform a variety of machining operations, which include drilling, chamfering, and deburring.
Successful candidates will possess:
A HS Diploma or GED;
5 years of previous CNC set up and operation experience;
Experience on Mazak or Haas machines;
Thorough operational knowledge and skills specific to CNC Mills or CNC Lathers with the ability to calculate and set machine controls either manually or by entering commands;
Alignment with the requirements and principles of the Advantech Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015;
Skills to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently;
Capacity to handle changes in business operations and adjust to new situations;
Preparedness to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and operate equipment;
Ability to work with limited supervision.

Machinist Level I

The Mold Technician is responsible for designing, building, repairing, and maintaining molds used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations through precise and reliable mold work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Mold Fabrication & Assembly:
Manufacture, assemble, and modify molds using machining techniques such as milling, grinding, drilling, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to create precise molds.
Mold Maintenance & Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged molds to maintain production efficiency.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure molds remain in optimal condition.
Machining & Tooling:
Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to fabricate mold components.
Perform hand-finishing techniques such as polishing, deburring, and fitting mold parts.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
Inspect molds for defects and ensure they meet strict quality standards before production use.
Work closely with engineers and production teams to make necessary mold modifications

The CNC Turret Lathe Operator is expected to work from blue prints, sketches, specifications, verbal or written instructions, sets up, adjusts, programs, and operates a computerized numericalcontrol (CNC) lathe and use precision measuring tools and to set up and operate engine lathes. Incumbent will be familiar with the CNC and Turret Lathe operation manuals and will be required to perform all operation functions as described in the manuals.

Level I: Quality - Complete and accurate work performed efficiently
1. Production quality and efficiency using appropriate tools and equipment, qualified to perform special processes as needed
a. Working from drawings, specifications, manuals, codes, etc., sets up work piece and determines tooling needed.
b. Investigates drawing build material and JIND sheet instructions to conform to Quality Assurance requirements.
c. Visually examines completed machined parts for conformance of drawings
d. Will be required to manually debur and polish various parts.
e. Forms in-process inspections, periodically verifying conformance to drawings, specifications, and operation sheets using such measuring instruments as scales, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, plug gauge, and other measuring devices.
