Job Details Entry Escalon, CA $27.91 - $30.29 Hourly DayDescription The CNC Machine Operator 1 is responsible for operating machinery and aiding in the machining of a variety of components at a basic level in order to support the organization's production requirements. Responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance to the Company's quality, environmental and occupational health & safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined by the Company. Position responsibilities do not include direct communications with employees, customers, or representatives. Duties and Responsibilities_______________________________________________________ Ability to use minor machines including overhead crane, fork lift, and hydraulic press. Familiar with the machine controls involved in completing a task on a particular machine. Ability to follow instructions with respect to setting up the machine to perform various tasks. Ability to load material into the machine. Ability to inspect the component as it comes off the machine for conformance to the appropriate specification. Ability to recognize a suspected problem within a particular process or machine and alert the supervisor. Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the machine and surrounding area. Ability to deburr all parts. Ability to efficiently run one machine/work center. Ability to follow production logs/digital logs. Possesses basic understanding of measurements and tolerances utilizing calipers, micrometers, tape measure. Ability to use commonly used software and internal programs.
