ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Setup, operate and perform daily maintenance on manufacturing machines.
Strictly adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Makes high quality parts to specifications.
Helps develop workable methods for machining operations.
Makes proper use of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment.
Sets up, machines, and inspects all required operations.
Proficient at inspecting sizes and geometries down to .0002”.
Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced machinists to upgrade their machining, inspection, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops, and other mandatory safety equipment.
For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

This position works closely with Engineering to produce tooling that is utilized within our manufacturing facility. The weekend shift offers a unique opportunity to work 36 hours - get paid for 40 hours! You receive four (4) extra hours of pay each week! That equates to over FIVE (5) WEEKS (208 hours) of paid time per year!
