Senior Mold Maker - A or B Shift Where we need you Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Build new injection molds and perform engineering changes, repairs, and refurbishments to existing production molds. * Troubleshoot complex, tight-tolerance mold issues to restore and sustain stable, repeatable production performance. * Execute structured preventative maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubrication, polishing, and inspection, to keep molds in optimal operating condition. How to convince us Required Skills/Abilities: * Strong working knowledge of plastic injection mold design, construction, and function. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mold issues in a production environment. * Precision machining and grinding capability to tolerances of ±0.0001 inches. * Proficient in the setup and operation of toolroom equipment, including manual machining tools and CNC mills. * Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to conceptualize solutions and apply creativity to tooling challenges. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workmanship. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability. * Experience using CAD/CAM software in a mold manufacturing or repair environment (Mastercam preferred). * Sinker EDM and Wire EDM experience preferred but not required. Education and Experience: * Minimum (10) years' experience at a journeyman level including exposure to a variety of mold manufacturing and plastic injection molding processes and technologies. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, bend, and work in a toolroom environment for extended periods. * Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as required. * Visual acuity required for precision machining, inspection, and detailed mold work.
