This position is also known as Wind Field Technician. We specialize in cutting-edge robotic solutions that ensure safety, efficiency, and top-tier service for the wind energy industry.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to travel to wind farms across the country, with all accommodation and travel expenses fully covered by the Company. You will be performing inspections, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines - ensuring peak performance and safety standards are met.
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Full certifications will be required to undertake the role.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines.
Performing routine inspections on turbines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Preventative maintenance on wind turbines and associated systems to reduce downtime and maximize energy production.
Fault diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology.
Reporting and documentation of work completed, including identifying issues, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.

What You Will Do
Operate CNC machines with skilled precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch and lift up to 50lbs
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
CNC machining experience, including performing machine setups
Experience operating precision tools and equipment such as lathes, vertical milling machines, and cutting tools
Experience using gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC mills, lathes, and saws to manufacture high-quality metal components. Owasso machining shop needs CNC Mill or Lathe Operators 3 & 4 Axis machining Will need to be able to do set-ups, tool changing G codes are a plus but not required Must be able to read mics and calipers They machine plastic and metal parts for the aerospace, food processing, oil and gas, defense industries
Must have good work history
1st shift: 6am-4:30 Monday-Thursday with 6am-12:00 on Friday
2nd shift: 4:30-2:30 Monday-Friday
3rd shift: 2:30am-12:30pm Monday-Friday
Weekend shifts would be 6am-6pm. Work 36, paid for 40
Someone that has just graduated school would be a plus
This is a climate controlled building

Shift: This position is for 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 2:30 am)

CNC Machinist II Responsibilities Include:
Fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
Operates one or more types of machines in order to meet production demands.
Sets and adjusts machine settings as necessary.
Reads and interprets diagrams and blueprints to select, position, and secure machinery to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
Complete tasks accurately according to customer specifications.
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, location of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; and indicating vices.
Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
CNC Machinist II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years of experience is required.
Ability to demonstrate the skill, knowledge and experience required to manufacture complex parts with little or no supervision.
Ability to make complex tooling, inspect complex parts and be able to read and edit complex programs.
Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, technical data and related specifications.
Ability to exhibit good attendance, a good attitude, and the ability to work well with others.
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
