Select tools, materials, and cutting parameters to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency on large-format machines. Troubleshoot machining processes, resolve production issues, and continuously improve cycle times. Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience with 5-Axis CNC programming and operation, with a strong emphasis on large-part machining using mill-turn centers (multi-axis lathes). Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling strategies, and material properties specific to large machines and heavy components. About the RoleAs a CNC Machinist - VTL Specialist at Torus, you'll operate a CNC Vertical Turning Lathe machine to produce precision-machined large parts for sustainable energy systems.
