Overview
The Housekeeping Crew is an on call, per event employee who is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Flint River Entertainment Complex Venues by performing various cleaning duties within the seating area, concourse, restrooms, and locker rooms for various events.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $10.00 to $12.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until December 12, 2025.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Reliable transportation and working contact information are required to work at the Flint River Entertainment Complex.
Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Must be able to lift 40lbs or more on a regular basis.
Must be able to stand, walk and bend on a continuous basis.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are generally evening/overnight and could range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
Must be able to work in a manner that is safe and effective.

Provide administrative and account support related to A/P and A/R including coding and entering A/P invoices and preparing and sending out A/R invoices. Maintains all vendor and customer files.
Answer, screen and direct payroll and HR calls; handle routine inquiries.
Inputs and reconciles daily bank deposits including box office, food and beverage, and operating deposits. Apply customer payments to invoices or events and prepares operating bank deposit.
Input, update and maintain sponsorship contracts and invoices in accounting system. Ensuring all contracts and correctly input and invoiced on a monthly basis.
Provides general office and clerical support including distributing mail, ordering office supplies and other routine office duties.
Review food and beverage profit and loss statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assists the Director of Finance with month end items, year-end audit and annual reports.
All other duties as assigned by the Finance Director or General Manager.
Qualifications
2-year college diploma with exposure to accounting and/or payroll or equivalent experience.
Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Industry experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/O365 required
Knowledge of Netsuite and Coupa preferred
Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
Capable of working with all levels of management
Able to communicate clearly in the English language both orally and in writing using proper spelling, grammar and punctuations.

Responsibilities
Arrives for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to work
Attentively listens to guests' questions and requests
Provides accurate information to guests relative to events being held in the building including dates, times, ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, seating options, event descriptions and general information about the facility
Accurately generates tickets from the computerized system and retains tickets until payment transaction is complete
Handles payment transactions whether by cash or credit card in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
Ensure that an acceptable credit card is provided supported by a photo ID and the guest signs receipt or with regard to cash purchases any change is counted back to the guest
Provides tickets to guest and requests guest to review the tickets to ensure the date and time of the event are as requested
Ensures that cash count is accurate at beginning of shift and that when the cash drawer is counted at the end of the shift by management, the cash in the drawer equals the amount taken in per the ticketing system, plus the starting bank
Listens to guest concerns and complaints in a calm and patient manner and resolves issue to the satisfaction of guest or if necessary contacts Supervisor/Manager to assist guest
Qualifications
Ticket sellers must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
High school diploma/GED preferred
Basic computer skills ideally with a computerized ticketing system
Previous cash handling and/or retail experience
Ability to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash and process credit card transactions

Schedule appropriate changeover and housekeeping crew for a large group of employees accurately and efficiently and adjust/notify employees of updates / changes as necessary
Maintains departmental equipment; notify Director of Operations when repairs are needed
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients to provide a positive employee climate.
Assume management responsibility for all services and activities involved in the operations of all venue and exhibition & convention spaces
Provide staff training for all employees and temporary workers
Deliver and follow up on Performance Improvement procedures on a timely basis
Ensure staff is working safely and are aware of proper safety guidelines
Lead / coordinate staff training and safety programs
Assist or lead planning, directing, coordinating and review of work plans for facility operations
Review and understand event documents to forecast staffing and equipment needs for all Arena & Convention events.
Coordinate facility arrangements with concessionaires and production department
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) or more years' experience in an operations position in an arena, convention center, public assembly facility or similar location preferred
Knowledge of set up/housekeeping and event coordination
An advanced degree in Facility Management or related field may be substituted for years of experience
Basic computer skills in a Windows format including typing, data entry and email
Advanced computer skills and experience with MS Word, Outlook, Excel preferred
Ability to effectively lead a team and manage in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Knowledge of OSHA standards / requirements
Forklift certification or ability to acquire within 90 days of employment
Possess superior interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing
Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
Possession of a valid Driver's License preferred

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee occasionally lifts and moves facility equipment and/or tools. Employee will frequently move about inside and outside various areas of the large facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients and supervise the work of employees. Position will require employee to occasionally bend, stoop, or crouch in order to evaluate and inspect equipment and building infrastructure. Employee will as needed operate fork lift and high lift in assessment of and maintenance of the building and equipment. Employee will occasionally be required to identify or match colors/tones of furniture, dance floor, carpet or other items as necessary. Employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, copy machines and printers; employee will constantly communicate via telephone, email and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee will frequently lift 30 lbs; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds; and push/pull 150 pounds, as business demands required.
Work Environment:
The duties of this position are performed primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate during non-event days and when not operating equipment; and moderate to loud during event days when equipment is in operation. The work environment is consistently cool (cold) when ice rink is in place seasonally. Exposure to crowds with thousands of people in attendance, crowded or tight spaces, high elevation, consistently loud workspaces, and freight elevators.

Accurately generates tickets from the computerized system and retains tickets until payment transaction is complete
Handles payment transactions whether by cash or credit card in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
Ensure that an acceptable credit card is provided supported by a photo ID and the guest signs receipt or with regard to cash purchases any change is counted back to the guest
Provides tickets to guest and requests guest to review the tickets to ensure the date and time of the event are as requested
Ensures that cash count is accurate at beginning of shift and that when the cash drawer is counted at the end of the shift by management, the cash in the drawer equals the amount taken in per the ticketing system, plus the starting bank
Listens to guest concerns and complaints in a calm and patient manner and resolves issue to the satisfaction of guest or if necessary contacts Supervisor/Manager to assist guest
Qualifications

Position Summary
The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger
of low stock items.
Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of
garbage & cleaning dishes.
Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest's ID in accordance
with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 18 or over
Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests

* Arrives for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to work
* Attentively listens to guests' questions and requests
* Provides accurate information to guests relative to events being held in the building including dates, times, ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, seating options, event descriptions and general information about the facility
* Accurately generates tickets from the computerized system and retains tickets until payment transaction is complete
* Handles payment transactions whether by cash or credit card in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
* Ensure that an acceptable credit card is provided supported by a photo ID and the guest signs receipt or with regard to cash purchases any change is counted back to the guest
* Provides tickets to guest and requests guest to review the tickets to ensure the date and time of the event are as requested
* Ensures that cash count is accurate at beginning of shift and that when the cash drawer is counted at the end of the shift by management, the cash in the drawer equals the amount taken in per the ticketing system, plus the starting bank
* Listens to guest concerns and complaints in a calm and patient manner and resolves issue to the satisfaction of guest or if necessary contacts Supervisor/Manager to assist guest
Qualifications
Ticket sellers must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
* High school diploma/GED preferred
* Basic computer skills ideally with a computerized ticketing system
* Previous cash handling and/or retail experience
* Ability to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash and process credit card transactions
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to keep accurate and legible records
* Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends and some holidays
