Responsibilities
What you will do:
* Serve as the lead designer for municipal airport engineering projects, applying sound judgment and technical expertise to deliver safe, cost-effective, and compliant solutions.
* Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely and clear communication throughout all project phases.
* Prepare and certify construction documents, engineering reports, and design plans in accordance with FAA, state, and local standards.
* Conduct and oversee field investigations, site inspections, and construction observation to verify conformance with project specifications and quality standards.
* Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and modeling software to complete calculations, analyze data, and support project design.

Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering field relevant to the job responsibilities.
Experience
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-graduate engineering experience; or 2 years of experience for candidates holding a master's degree in a related engineering field.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a key technical and leadership role in designing transportation infrastructure projects that meet and exceed IDOT standards. You will collaborate closely with agency staff, municipalities, and contractors to develop efficient, safe, and constructible design solutions.

What you will do:
Serve as the lead designer for municipal airport engineering projects, applying sound judgment and technical expertise to deliver safe, cost-effective, and compliant solutions.

Qualifications Education

Responsibilities
The work you will do
* Lead strategic planning and execution of potable water projects from concept to completion.
* Identify growth opportunities and expand our water infrastructure portfolio.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
* Mentor and inspire a team of engineers and technical professionals.
* Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and client engagements.
Qualifications
What you bring Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, or related field required
* Experience with client interaction including council/board meetings required
* 6+ years of prior experience with water treatment projects required
* Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $88,871 to $159,800 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
