The Equipment Readiness Engineer located in Lafayette, La is responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands. The Equipment Readiness Engineer improves the reliability of Division equipment assets and increases the utilization and efficiency of assets. This person reduces the cost of service delivery (CoSD). * Coordinate equipment related tasks with the assigned team, including tasks covered in the Prepare and Close phases of the Product and Service Delivery (PSD) process and the job preparation workflow within the Asset Maintenance process. * Ensure that equipment maintenance and testing and configuration are executed according to the maintenance program and equipment demand orders (EDO). * Make sure work orders (WO) are issued and executed through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the Division, ensuring compliance to standard work and WO data accuracy and completeness. * Perform system level checks and tests, such as Operational Combination Check. * Verify the status of equipment certifications and calibrations. * Prepare and organize required documentation packages for hand-off to PSD, which may consist of calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections and, if necessary, third-party quality control and inspections. * Ensure equipment and associated critical spares are prepared for shipment and staging to a pre-determined location. * Receive returned documentation packages from PSD after demobilization. * Adopt the continuous improvement culture and support initiatives to improve CoSD and asset utilization using the equipment readiness maintenance process. * Support incident investigations and equipment failure reproduction. * Provide domain expertise to Equipment Readiness Operators and Technicians and participate in their training. * Monitor and ensure compliance with Division Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards and the Competency Management System. Minimum Qualifications * 10 years' experience as a Wireline Field Engineer. * Previous Equipment Readiness Engineer experience * Bachelor's degree. * Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the United States without sponsorship.
