Position Purpose
In conjunction with Facilities Manager and Facilities Department personnel, the Facilities Engineer will support the development and execution of efficient facilities operations, repair programs, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure safe, functional, and optimized work environments across the enterprise.
Role and Responsibilities
Collaborates cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, and Operations teams to ensure transparent communication and efficient project execution.
Performs basic repairs and first-line diagnostics on systems including door hardware, refrigeration systems, HVAC, emergency lighting, alarm sensors, office lighting, plumbing, and finishing tasks such as patching and painting.
Manages vendor relationships for janitorial, pest control, and other facility services, ensuring service quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
Responds promptly to critical facilities issues, coordinates with approved contractors, and supervises repair work as needed.
Maintains collaborative relationships with landlord representatives, building management personnel and engineering teams.
Sources replacement parts and attic stock through approved vendors to support timely repairs.

Utilizes mobile and digital platforms for alarm systems, access control, and internal communications.
