Performs complicated trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design for E3 performance. Work (under minimal direction) to achieve Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring and structure. Interface with manufacturing complex E3 aspects of the designs, coordinate with suppliers to assure compatibility at the system level. Report achievements and issues to program management and customers. Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews. E3 includes the following environments: Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), Precipitation Static, Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP).
