Position Overview
CHA is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our OB/GYN practice in Cambridge. You will be an integral part of a care team that supports the reproductive health needs of patients across all stages of life.
Key Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage patient flow and assist in rooming patients
• Document medical histories and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing • Assist providers with clinical procedures • Book screening tests as part of the outreach process and booking follow up appointments (e.g., well child visits, vaccine booster visits) • Support proactive population health efforts through outreach, patient communications (calls, letters, MyCHArt messages), and care coordination
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, completion of an approved certified nursing assistant training program or one year of previous experience as a medical assistant in lieu of program completion required. • Certifications: Maintains current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.• Language Skills: Ability to write and verbally communicate in English. Fluency in a second language is strongly preferred. • Work Experience: Current experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Experience with administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred.

The Chief Psychiatrist provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients as well as psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. PSYCHIATRIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of those inmates referred by the medical and clinical services staff.
Provide written summaries of history, diagnosis and treatment course.
Where applicable, provide psychiatric services for inpatients, assessment, diagnosis, staffing, treatment planning, and regular review of all inmates assigned.
Where applicable, provide psychiatric services for all inmates referred to the Healthcare Unit for those inmates in the general population who need regular psychiatric/behavioral health follow up.
Where applicable, provide psychiatric services for those inmates who need to be transferred to Behavioral Health facilities. Services to include work up and any court hearing testimony needed.
Where applicable, act as regular Psychiatrist and participate in the treatment programming and planning for the
Behavioral Health Unit (if applicable) duties include regular staffing and contact with Behavioral Health Unit staff and supervisor, discussion of problem cases, follow up and monitoring of medication, and general psychiatric input.
Provide medication management to all inmates admitted.
Provide individual and/or group therapy as appropriate.
Approve, sign, and monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans.
Approve all admissions and discharges into the Behavioral Health Unit, if applicable.
Provide in-service education to the site staff as needed.
Attend training and meetings as required.

Tufts Medical Center is currently seeking a Neonatal Hospitalist to become a member of our Newborn Medicine Team. Tufts Medicine with Boston Children's is reimagining pediatric care to meet new and emerging community needs. In coming together, we have pushed the boundaries, expanded and improved access and equity through the creation of a shared and sustainable model of comprehensive pediatric care throughout the communities in Eastern Massachusetts. The core of this collaboration are our physicians that are part of the Boston Children's Network Specialty (BCNSP) Foundation and we will maintain our mutual commitment to research and education and training of the next generation of clinicians. This Neonatal Hospitalist role is primarily located at Tufts Medical Center, Boston.

Our Level IIIb NICU admits approximately 700 critically ill newborns annually from our MFM group as well as transports from five Level II community affiliates (approximately 9,000 deliveries and 1000+ admissions to our system annually). The NICU at Tufts is the perinatal referral center for the Tufts Neonatal Network, located in downtown Boston and with partnerships in the community. Our services begin with the earliest stages of life in our 40-bed Level IIIb Newborn Intensive Care Unit and continue with the follow-up of these infants through our robust comprehensive NICU Infant Neurodevelopmental Follow-up program.
How you'll transform patient care:
* You will provide clinical coverage, in the Mother Infant Unit at Tufts Medical Center, providing care to the healthy late preterm and term newborns receiving rooming-in care.
* You will mentor medical students and other trainees along with a superb group of Neonatal Advanced Practitioners.
