Daily rounds on patient census

Provides patient education about underlying medical conditions, self-management of acute or chronic illnesses and tailor's instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding therapeutic regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance.
Oversees and mentors fellows and medical residents on the medical teams
Responsible for conduct and patient interaction of shadowing medical students, physician extenders and nursing interns.
Salary:
$320,000 - 350,000 for 24 weeks of day shifts annually. Opportunity to earn additional compensation if the provider covers night shifts within the 24 weeks. Per diem rates are also available for coverage provided outside of contracted weeks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
